What is this website for ?

This website has been designed by a racket stringer for racket stringers. It contains most of the tools a stringer needs to track the remaining rackets to string, what string jobs need to be paid for still, the stringing history of customers and more.

Can I only use the website on my computer ?

The website was primarly designed for computer monitors, so it is optimal to use it on a computer. However, it can be used on any smart phone or tablet.

Are there any plans to make the website display better on smaller screens like phones and tablets ?

Yes! I'd like to make the whole website compatible and easy to use with mobile devices. It is definitely a short term goal.

Why do the print buttons for receipts and work orders print on a full page ?

The printing function was designed to adjust to the printer's paper width. It was primarly made for receipt printers such as the EPSON TM-T20II, but it should be fine on most printers.

I have found a bug, how do I report it ?

Please send an email to [email protected] with "Bug report" as the subject and try to explain what you have experienced as best as you can. The more precisions on how you made the bug happen, the faster I'll be able to find and fix it! The best bug reports include screenshots and steps on how to reproduce the bug!

I have a suggestion for a new feature or a change in the website, how do I send it ?

Please send an email to [email protected] with "Suggestion" as the subject and explain your suggestion in your message. We are always open to implement new features.

Are there new features planned for the website ?

Yes, definitely. I want to keep improving the website over time.

Why are there Donate buttons ?

This website was developped entirely by one person in the hopes of creating a tool that can be useful for stringers around the world. Many hours have been spent programming the website and many more will be spent maintaining it. Moreover, hosting a website and a database is not free and any donations can help cover this cost (any amount helps, even if it's just a couple cents per stringjob!). So if you feel like encouraging me, I'd be extremely thankful for any donation!

So is this website free to use ?

Yes, I am not going to force anyone to pay anything to use the website and I want it to remain free.

What is the SBS field in the stringjob page ?

SBS is an abbreviation for Stringbed Stiffness. It is an absolute measure of how stiff the strings on a racket feel. The field can be used to log the SBS resulting from using devices such as the ERT300, or simply the ping frequency generated by the strings.
